Gardens by the Sea Walking Tour

"Gardens by the Sea” is a walking tour of nine rarely seen private gardens in the historic Borough of Stonington, Connecticut, to be held on Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, 2022. Artists in the Borough will showcase New England Plein Air artists, who will be painting in selected gardens and throughout the Borough. Their work will be available for purchase at our Artists in the Borough Pop-Up Gallery at the La Grua Center. A tented Marketplace, located on Wadawanuck Square will have vendors offering a wide variety of garden-inspired items as well as clothing, jewelry, and home decor. Our Celebrity Speaker, Charlie Nardozzi, will speak on June 10 and 11 at 1:00 pm at the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club (topics will differ). These talks are each $25pp, and seating is limited. A special Preview Party will be held on Thursday, June 9, from 6-8 pm at the La Grua Center. This event is also ticketed separately ($50pp), and space is limited. Gardens by the Sea will be open June 10 and 11 from 10 AM to 4 PM, rain or shine. Tour Tickets are $35 online or $40 onsite and are good for both days.
