ICC Greenwich and Purchase College One-Day Apu Trilogy Film Festival

India Cultural Center of Greenwich has arranged for Satyajit Ray's complete Apu Trilogy to be shown at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College Sunday, January 31. These are remarkable works of cinematic art by Ray who won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science.  They are all the more remarkable because of their restoration following a fire in the warehouse where they had been sent for safekeeping after Ray received the lifetime award.

Purchase College has arranged for a subject expert to briefly introduce each film.  Tandoori,Port Chester) will be serving reception food before the
last film at no charge to ticket holders.

Choose to see one, two or all three films starting at 12:30, 3:00 and 5:00.  Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 all-day pass or $10 for one film.
