DESCRIPTION:Sole Sisters is a Greenwich United Way women's initiative that primarily hosts an annual luncheon to fundraise for Greenwich United Way. Since its inception 10 years ago\, this event has raised over $1million in support of the Greenwich United Way's efforts. While the Luncheon features a fashion and home accessories boutique\, most importantly\, there is always a notable guest keynote speaker that inspires the crowd of up to 400 women and men attending. This year Arianna Huffington will speak and attendees will all receive a signed copy of her latest book\, The Sleep Revolution.\n\n\n\nWHO: Sole Sisters\, a Greenwich United Way women's initiative\n\nWHAT: Spring Luncheon Fundraiser\n\nWHEN: Tuesday\, April 19th 2016\n\nWHERE: Greenwich Country Club (19 Doubling Road\, Greenwich\, CT 06830)\n\nWHY: This year the Sole Sisters are proud to support the Greenwich United Way's leadership efforts in addressing the most critical needs of the Greenwich community.\n\n\n\nAdditional Information: Some of the most rising needs in Greenwich are identified by Greenwich United Way's 2016 Needs Assessment. These needs include the Achievement Gap and Youth in Crisis. Needs Assessment research gives insight into the more urgent\, unmet needs in Greenwich\, such as youth dealing with substance abuse\, mental health issues and bullying.
